About the datapack:
🌃 Introducing: The Ancient City Overhaul!
This overhaul is mainly focusing on the looks of the ancient cities, which means that they'll feel more like an actuall city with a majestic style rather than just some ruined structures that are all connected to a center.
You'll find a lot more variety like a big neighborhood structure, a prison, a maze and more!

But... the fear factor is gone. There is so much lighting in the candles all over the place that walking in didn't feel even remotely unnerving, which to me kinda defeats the purpose of the deep dark and ancient cities. I know it's a trade off since a lot of the beautiful builds can't be seen without 'em, but it's a clash that definitely felt off. I'm also not sure if or how this datapack modifies shrieker placement? Or perhaps the structures themselves don't have enough in them? Even running around full tilt it took a while before I was able to set one off intentionally. That plus the added vision, there's just no bite. :/
If that's the intent, totally fine then it's just not the pack for me. Just wanted to mention it in case it wasn't.
Thank you for your feedback! I get what you're saying and I will look into making the ancient cities darker and scarier in the future :)
And no, my datapack only modifies the stuctures themself, not anything else with how the deep dark or shriekers generate.
Again, thanks you!
Should work but idk
Edit: I think it's working
