What is the Dreamland?

The dreamland is a vanilla datapack which adds a whole new dimension to your game featuring 7 cool biomes and opportune building spots & also shows off some the epic thins custom dimensions can do

How do I get there?

Construct a Dream shrine (images above) and sneak on the beacon block to be sent to the dimension (you may spawn inside blocks so be prepared)

to travel back to the overworld, set yourself on fire and sneak... you should be back there in no-time!


What are the biomes called?

- autumn hills
- basalt badlands
- cakeland
- dead sea
- fire forest
- illusional forest
- poisonous plains


Why Live here?

Although the biomes are very dangerous, this world has basically infinite gold nuggets which can be useful for many things so enjoy playing thru these spectacular worlds!

Why I hate mojank sometimes

Currently there is no way to uninstall experimental features... there have also been issues with compatibility of this datapack with other worldgen datapacks despite the lack of any errors or warnings at all... therefore I reccomend you test your datapack configuration on a single-player world before adding this to any survival world

Is there anychance this'll be updated for 1.18? Or do you think it should be able to load even in the new update?

It won't load in the new update and I don't really plan on updating this, VanillaExtract is on a hiatus while we get the website fixed to support data-packs.

Also this was meant to be more of a test of worldgen, not really a serious thing

Downloaded before reading all the comments, and sadly trying to uninstall (since it doesn't show or do anything in my 1.17 world) it corrupted the world. As soon as I put the folder back in the datapack folder everything went back to normal but now I can't remove it without losing my world.

I think this may be an issue with greater mine-craft in general... if you go into your world folder... you should find one for custom dimensions too which you will have to also delete...

it's in this directory:
C:\Users\[Your User]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves\[Your World]\dimensions

go into your world folder and delete the dimension folder maybe that'll work...

You need to download the newest version off the website and make sure your game is on 1.17 mine-craft... if it doesn't work still the please join my discord so I can debug this for you :)

It's an amazing datapack and all, but please please please learn how namespaces work. You put all your worldgen and stuff under the minecraft namespace instead of a custom one, and your custom one (which is only used for functions and stuff currently) is called world_gen for some ungodly reason.

yea... I put it under the vanilla namespace to make it easier to get to the biome when using the commands because instead of doing /locatebiome [​somerandomassnamespace:mybiome] it could just be minecraft:fire_forest for cleanliness... as for the naming of the custom namespace I just did what first came to mind :/
