The UHC Forge is a set of data packs that allows for an easy way to play UHC in vanilla Minecraft. It comes complete with numerous options to modify the game as well as 30+ unique game modes made popular by the ultrahardcore subreddit.

The latest version of Minecraft supported by the UHC Forge is 1.19.2.

What is UHC?
UHC (Ultra Hardcore) is a battle-royale style last-man-standing game in Minecraft. In this game, health can not be regenerated naturally and can only be regained through the use of golden apples.

For 1.13-1.15:
copy and paste the "datapacks" folder from this download into the root of your world folder. Then, follow the prompts on the screen to set up the game. For a more detailed look at how to do this, There is a hosting tutorial included in the showcase video displayed on this page.

For 1.16+:
Open the "data packs" menu when creating a new world, and drag and drop all of the folders within the "datapacks" folder of this download into that menu. Enable the "Setup" and "UHC" datapacks before creating the world.
(For 1.17/1.18: This download contains different versions of the datapacks depending on which version of Minecraft you're running. Make sure the version matches in order for everything to work.)

I doubt it, to be honest. It uses a lot of things that affect the world as a whole, and the vanilla game has no way to limit them to a specific area. I do know that there are servers (using Bukkit, I assume) that allow players to travel between different worlds. That would probably work, but I have no experience with it and therefore cannot help with that.

ummmm, when i put this pack into a 1.13 world, it comes up with an error that says Couldn't get pack info for: um: 'pack.mcmeta' in ResourcePack '.\world\datapacks\uhc-forge-v1-0-1559485385.zip'

What do I do, is the pack broken?

It sounds like you are copying the entire zip file into the "datapacks" folder of your world. Instead, you have the extract the "datapacks" folder from the zip file and put that into the root of your world folder. I show how to do this in the video at 6:45.
