Hello! I wanted to get back into the Horror genre inspired Origins, so I set out and made one of my most ambitious Origins yet. Its a big one and the most complex one I've made so far, I hope you guys enjoy this one :))

Wailing One datapack is made for the fabric mod, Origins. You must have it for this pack to work. This datapack also uses Mob Origins which you must have to get the full effect of the Origin's power.

Origin Detail:

Icon: Ghast Tear
Impact: remove_circleremove_circleremove_circle
Description: A harbinger of Death, villagers fear them, pillagers respect them, The Wailing Ones are Banshees whose presence and eerie cries always bring Death, and are a reminder that all things must eventually end.

Positive check_circle:

- Phantom Walk: While Phantomized, you can walk through solid material, except obsidian and bedrock. [​Primary]
- Wail: Sing your Death Knell to damage and wither all who stand in front of you! [​Secondary]
- Ghost Flight: Hold jump to "fly" in the direction you're facing.
- Spiteful Resistance: Any mobs/players that hit you with melee attacks will receive Slowness II and Weakness II for 5 seconds.
- Touch Of Death: Applies Wither II on anyone you hit for 10 seconds.
- Dark Vision: You can see in the dark.
- Undeath: The Undead see you as their own and aren’t hostile to you.
- Feast On Life: You gain life by damaging or killing others.

Neutral pause_circle_filled:

- As Soft As A Wisp: Sneak while falling to slow fall.
- Swamp Spawn: You spawn in a swamp.
- Particles: Your body releases End and Soul particles. (Hidden)

Negative remove_circle:

- Ghost!: Villagers won't trade with you and run from you, golems will attack on sight.
- Hydrophobia: Water purifies, thus you take damage over time while in contact with it.
- Photoallergic: You begin to burn in direct daylight if you are not Phantomized or under shelter.
- Wicked Spirit: Smite works against you, iron and gold items deal extra damage to you, and you cannot wear iron or gold armor.
