This data pack adds a new type of totem called the Totem of The Jungle! What it does is when you are about to take fall damage when falling, It places a vine under you to save you, And you take no fall damage at all. Then after that the totem will have one use used from it, after 2 uses it will become deactivated. To give one more use to the deactivated totem, throw a emerald on it and it will have one use again!

To get it, Either look in a jungle temples chests, Or use the function 'givealltotems' with /function!

New update! This improves alot of stuff such as
  • Now to activate the totem you must fall atleast 12 blocks
  • Now has 2 uses! Once all the uses are used on the totem, You can throw a emerald on the totem for another use outta it
  • Fixed a ton of bugs

I read more into the error and, Turns out in 1.17 they changed some commands so a new download is up that fixes it for 1.17! Hope it works!

so it's 1 use or infinite because if it's 1 use then it's useless. but infinite or set durability would be ideal.

Your able to find more than 1 in a jungle temple, But I'll see about that durability idea.

Hi, great idea for the Jungle biome! :)



I assume Totem need to be held before using it? If so enderpearl and water bucket can also save you, so maybe there might one more practical way of using this totem. There is just too few hotbar slots.

Thank you! Yes, the totem does need to be held to save you, But maybe I should make it so it saves you when it's in your inventory. I'll think about it.

It seems like it can be messed up if you only fall from about 3 blocks high (minimum fall damage).
It would be a waste to use a totem if you were only going to take like 2 or 3 hearts of damage.

Okay, I'll see if I can make it activate only from taller falling distance.
