Required Resource Pack
49
Hicha! Yori/Astra here and releasing my very first datapack! This pack includes 24 colours of Tron Chutes, all working!
HUGE UPDATE!
You MUST uninstall BOTH of the old Resource and Data packs for this pack from your world to use this new update! BEFORE doing so, make SURE to GET RID OF any Tron Chutes in your world first!
This pack now lets you Glide through the air! Not just fall! It also allows you to deploy them mid-air using the spacebar/jumping! They also disappear near the ground!
There's also a New Circuit and Base Colour system! Based on Flubberschnub's for his Lightcycles, Jets and Discs! So it'll work with them! (I'm currently working on adding the rest of the colours in for him >.>).
Oh! And these have specular maps! So they shine and glow with BSL Shaders Advanced Materials ON!
The Colours:
Base Colours:
Black = 0
White = 1
Circuit Colours:
0=White
1=Blue
2=Orange
3=Green
4=Gray
5=Lime Green
6=Magenta
7=Dark Blue
8=Pink
9=Purple
10=Red
11=Yellow
So here's an example, I want a white base material with a blue glow. I will type this into my chat first:
/scoreboard players set Astraica basecolor 1
Then
/scoreboard players set Astraica circuitcolor 1
After that I'll type in:
/function tron_chutes and then select give
Hope you guys enjoy this! :D
Read below for the install instructions!
Now how to install the Resource Pack:
1. Download the resource pack.
2. Drop into your resourcepack folder.
That's it!
For Windows users this folder is reachable via this method:
In the run menu, type %appdata%
Enter the Roaming folder
Enter the .minecraft folder
Drop the resource pack into "resourcepacks"
For Mac users this folder is located here:
~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/resourcepacks
How to install the Datapack:
For Mac Users:
Put the datapack into ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/saves/(The folder of your preferred world)/datapacks
Type "/reload" ingame
For Windows Users:
In the run menu, type %appdata%
Enter the Roaming folder
Enter the .minecraft folder
Drop the datapacks into saves/(The folder for your preferred world)/datapacks
Type "/reload" ingame
These chutes go onto your head armour slot, and give you slow falling, just like the item from TRON: Legacy and TRON: Uprising!
This also is fully PBR'd! So they glow and shine if you have that turned on, it works best with BSL shaders Old+Emissive option for Advanced Materials.
They're also in glorious HD! So when you zoom in, they look really neat!
Shaders:
This pack works best with BSL Shaders, the format is Old PBR + Emission!
That's it! Hope you guys enjoy! ♥
Credit to Nova/technobaboo for the code for the Datapack! Please check out their TRON server called Tron Reloaded!
Edit: This system actually sacrifices having Capes AND Elytra! You MUST have this pack above any other pack and you will never see the Elytra as it is a fully transparent texture for the purpose of this pack!
Small Update: The models needed to be moved a bit on the head so that you could see their discs which have been added in! :D

Also: To get them to glow, are you using BSL shaders? That's what I use with the specific settings above.
Again, did you extract BOTH packs from the zip and rar files and make sure the first folders in each are: datapack = data, resource pack = assets?
You typed in /function tron_chutes
And got a list?
