Vanillaholic Dynamic Difficulty
***MULTIPLAYER COMPATIBLE***The longer you survive, the stronger the mobs become!
This data-pack is created with a brand new updated difficulty scaling system that spawns mobs according to the amount of days survived by the player. When you are starting a new survival world, you will have weak mobs spawn. As the days go by, you will need to be ready because the mobs will grow stronger over time, honing their killer instinct to bring you down. Do you have what it takes to adapt and overcome?
The mobs will have special quirks and features that do not stray from the realm of vanilla Minecraft. Let's talk about our two mobs that have received some changes!
Here are the changes the data-pack will bring to your world:
Most overworld mobs (Only the Zombie & Skeleton for now) will have low health in your first days venturing out into your new world.
Zombies: The undead zombie will have varying health and speed. Within three days, some zombies have a chance of spawning with a fast movement speed.
Skeleton: The skeleton will have a variety of weaponry or lack thereof to traverse the overworld. Within three days, be wary of the skeletons wielding a bow, they will switch to a sword if you get too close! These bag of bones do not have much health but deal damage.
I am looking forward to getting back on here. I hope this project improves the quality of life for the game for you all with the spirit of classic Minecraft intact.
Nether Mobs
Mobs from the nether will always stay at a fixed higher difficulty regardless of how many days the player has survived. This is to bring the nether back to its roots of being a treacherous wasteland. Only one mob has been adjusted for this introduction.
Ghast: The ghast is extremely dangerous. It now shoots highly explosive fireballs that can bring down the heaviest armored player. You have been warned, do not challenge it and actively try to be in a safe position.
These are all the new features being introduced thus far. I look forward to slowing improving the game through my vision. I

You are more than welcome to look into the code and even try several ideas out for yourself. Let me know if you are ever down to collaborate! I am working on a modded version of this data-pack that will run better, feature cool items, animations, and attempt to bring the old Minecraft back with updated features.
