Hello everyone!

Don't you guys hate it when you have to live with villagers? They always offer us some of the worst trade deals available. When we accidentally touch them they get real mad and collude with each other to make your life hell. From all of them suddenly jacking up prices because someone can't take an apology to them calling golem security on you, so you could one day accidentally punch them and get slammed, having villagers in your base is a nightmare.

Fear no more! We the players now have a way to get back at those big-nosed, bald fools. This datapack provides somewhat of a civilized compensation for all of those troubles. As the governor of your base, you can tax each villager named taxable_subject for their sins!

You must name them taxable_subject for the real estate tax to work!

From now on, if you trade with any villagers, you will get compensated by sales tax. The amount of emeralds paid is the number of trades you have done.

For the ones you claim living on your land, you can have them pay real estate tax or rent! These payments come daily and will vary based on skill level.

HOWEVER... Being the civilized people we are, we need to provide them healthcare. If they are slightly injured, they will refuse to pay up. Honestly, we couldn't blame them if we are the ones locking them indoors 24/7. They will display a white particle on their head if they are injured. To fix them, just splash them with a potion of healing or regeneration.

The realistic aspect of this rent is that it is progressive.
A novice villager will only pay 1 emerald a day.
An apprentice will pay 2 emeralds a day due to experience.
A journeyman will pay 3 emeralds a day.
An expert will pay 4 emeralds a day.
A master will pay 5 emeralds a day.

Remember: the conditions for them to pay their rents are that they must be uninjured and that they must be named taxable_subject.

The villagers are not paying their rent. I do have them at full health and named right. ive waited there MC days and still nothing.

The sales tax works just fine
