A new variant of the swamp hut with a brewing stand and a loot chest!

My original hope was to replace the existing witch hut, but there are a few issues with that. First, witch huts have custom spawning conditions (only witches spawn within their bounding box) which is useful for late game farms. However, that cannot be replicated with custom structures, so to replace them completely would make witch farms impossible.

Anyways, I have been wanting this for a LONG time, and the only other pack I could find works by testing if a witch and a black cat are standing in the same block (as they do when a witch hut generates), manually sets a chest block, and summons an armor stand to merge a loot table into the chest.

I knew it would be easier to just do it with NBT data. It was a lot of work and research, but I got it working! This pack adds a variant of the witch hut that also has a loot chest, it does not replace existing witch huts (due to the spawning issue I mention above), so you can find both!

The loot table currently consists of witch drops and potions, but feel free to suggest other items in the comments. I think I will update this soon to include glistening melons, ghast tears etc?

Note, for some reason the cats in my custom witch huts are random colors even though their nbt data shows they should be black.

This change is included in my RL Megapack posted here: Aceplante's RL Megapack, but I also wanted to post it separately in case anyone wanted this specifically.

Edit: In the above pack, due to new 1.19+ structure mechanics, these have completely replaced vanilla witch huts.
