I don't love that it requires a command, but I'm not gonna complain.
I do, however, wish portals worked from there.
I tried a game where I lived entirely inside the void room (with help from other datapacks), and I could not progress any further, because I could not light the nether portal.
Regardless, I greatly appreciate that you created this.
I decided to use the trigger command because i made this datapack mainly for servers, so i thought that having to always carry around an item or having to make a portal would be kind of annoying
The ability to use nether portals inside the room would be a great issue. Even if i added the ability to light the portal, then there would still be the issue that if you go through the portal from the nether side, you end up in the overworld.
And yes, i could add some sort of custom portal that link the player void room and the nether (so every player would get teleported back to their own room) but then i would still have te problem of where the portal would get placed on the nether side, since i can't really use the same math that the game uses for portals (because the rooms are too close together and all the portals would end up near the nether 0 0 coordinates)
To solve that issue you have to go to this website https://irath96.github.io/webNBT/ then open your world folder and drag the level.dat file inside the website page.Then inside the website go to "Data>WorldGenSettings" and delete "xylo:void" and "xylo_voidroom:void". once you have done that, click the save button that will start the download of your edited level.dat file. Finally, just drag that file inside your world folder.
I'm going to update this pack very soon for 1.19 so if you wanto to keep what you have built inside the voidroom, make a copy of the world, so you can bring back your progress in the voidroom dimension once i update the datapck
I alredy restarted it, still keeps spamming the same message
(That is caused by the fact that custom dimensions' code got changed in this game version)
