Have you ever wanted to wander around like the adventurers and vagabonds we see in fantasy settings? Smoking a pipe, slaying monsters, and, you know, building things out of blocks?

This data pack adds several new items to the game, along with the new mechanic of smoking a pipe, and getting a special effect from doing so! Oh, and of course, this mod features mature themes associated with smoking. Just a little disclaimer.

This data pack adds:

Craftable Pipes,
Pipe Tobacco (With craftable flavors),
Custom Effects,
2 Custom Crafting Stations,
New Game Mechanics, and
A Pipe Tamper!

**NOTE** IN ORDER TO GET THE PROPER VISUALS, MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD AND USE THE ACCOMPANYING RESOURCE PACK!!!
**NOTE** IF YOU HAVE AN OLD VERSION OF THIS DATA PACK RUNNING, MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE IT AND REPLACE IT WITH THIS ONE, ALONG WITH THE UPDATED RESOURCE PACK!!!

The wooden pipe can be crafted in a crafting table with two sticks and a bowl, and then you can toss it onto the floor with tobacco to pack it! Then, simply right-click while holding the pipe to get it started! Check the guide book or example images for other recipes!

The custom crafting stations, the Dryer and Steeper, can both be crafted at a crafting table! Their recipes are in the guide book and example images as well!

Tobacco can be made by putting any type of leaves into a dryer. Put up to a stack of leaves in the middle, then a single piece of coal beneath them. The dryer will start to show particles and make some sounds, then after 30 seconds, your tobacco is ready! *removing either the leaves or coal while drying will disrupt the process*

Tobacco can be flavored using the Steeper! The available flavors currently are Vanilla, Cherry, Honey, and Cream!

Plain Tobacco:
While smoking Plain Tobacco, you have a 4 minute custom effect on you that repels most types of mobs! This includes Zombies, Zombie Villagers, Husks, Creepers, Spiders, Cave Spiders, Silverfish, and Bees! The hostile mobs that are NOT repelled are Skeletons (of any kind), any Nether Mob, Phantoms, or Endermen.

Vanilla Tobacco:
While smoking Vanilla Tobacco, you attract bees nearby to you, and they follow you! This makes it much easier to gather bees for your beehives!

Cherry Tobacco:
When you smoke Cherry Tobacco, you are given night vision for two minutes! Be wary, though, as you still have the pipe burning for four minutes, which means you'll have two minutes after the night vision goes away before you can smoke another pipe.

Honey Tobacco:
When you smoke Honey Tobacco, you are given luck for two minutes! Be wary, though, as you still have the pipe burning for four minutes, which means you'll have two minutes after the luck goes away before you can smoke another pipe.

Cream Tobacco:
When you smoke Cream Tobacco, all effects on your player are cleared! This functions just like using a milk bucket, but is a stackable option! Be wary, though, as you still have the pipe burning for four minutes, which means you'll have four minutes after the effects are cleared before you can smoke another pipe.

Pipe Tamper:
You can at any time (as long as you have a current smoke effect going), use the Pipe Tamper (right-click) to end said effect!

Nicotine Buzz:
If you smoke too many pipes back to back, OR smoke a pipe while you still have an effect that is active, you will get a Nicotine Buzz, which ends all current smoke effects and gives you Nausea and Slowness for 15 seconds. Best not to do this when surrounded by hostile mobs...

Villager Smoking:
If you toss a Packed Pipe (wooden pipes packed with plain tobacco are the only ones supported currently) at the feet of a Villager, they will smoke it and give you back the empty pipe! If you also have a smoke effect going while near a villager that has recently smoked, they will follow you until one of your pipes burns out! This makes it much easier to transport single villagers.

Also, this data pack was made for 1.17, as that is the version we play on. It should be backwards compatible to 1.14+, but I haven't verified yet. If you encounter any issues with this, let me know and I'll adjust the version info!
THIS IS NO LONGER TRUE! The updated version uses Glow Item Frames for certain functions due to a lighting bug, and since these weren't in the game until 1.17, any older versions won't be able to use the new blocks! I'll try working on a solution to this, but it might not be possible to use older versions without encountering the lighting bug. I may end up releasing a second version of this data pack compatible with 1.16 and back. If that's something you'd like, please comment so I know and can get working on it!

**KNOWN ISSUES**
-This data pack, along with many that use the "knowledge book' crafting method, is not compatible with the Vanilla Tweaks "Learn All Recipes" data pack. As much as I love using it, it just causes too many issues with the recipe/advancement/book method of crafting. I will look into fixing this bug in future updates, if possible!
