MineMods was coded from the ground up. The default website (www.mine-mods.us) was coded completely from scratch, while the forum and mod sharing parts of the website were made using open source software (SMF, and PeoplePods).
We are hosting a website and server (still under development).

The whole point of MineMods was to bring forth the joy of modding. We allow people to post any mod they want (as long as it was created by you). Our software allows people to post more than just mods. They can post creations, skins, or just use it to blog! With an extremely dedicated staff team we are focused on providing YOU the best place to share your creations. And because the site is growing (slowly but surely) we're in need of members. This is the official release thread/log.

We need money. We're not going to lie. Hosting alone costs $120 out of pocket. If you want to partner with us, please PM me where we can discuss a deal.

Donations are a big part of MineMods. They pay the staff, and extra fees that may come up. The benefits of donations are as follows:
- The ability to lock your threads
- A nice looking crown under your name (recognition)
- The ability to create polls within your created threads
- The ability to create a custom title
- The ability to delete/modify any replies to your own topic
