Advice to new Players
To new players of Minecraft, if you wanna have fun on Minecraft for the long term, here’s some Advice from a Veteran who’s been playing for over 10 years
#1 It’s Optional to beat the Enderdragon
If you thought that Minecraft is all about trying to beat the Enderdragon, it’s not, it’s completely optional if you wanna do it, or not cause if you only focus on this and this only, you’ll eventually get bored doing it over and over. Minecraft is a Sandbox, not an MMO.
#2 Take it slow
It’s okay to take Minecraft slowly, so it at your own pace, explore the world a bit to find the perfect place for your house, maybe don’t get Niamonds or Netherite immediately, or get that Elytra later, it’s all up to you and you only on your pace of the game.
#3 Make your own small goals
You always see those YouTubers, who make massive mega structures and bases that take ages and time to build and you feel like you wanna do the same, don’t cause if you spent hours upon hours on Minecraft doing this, you’ll burn out and get bored and it won’t be fun anymore, cause YouTubers have time, that’s their job unlike you who goes to school and has a job, you don’t have that time, play Minecraft if you have a new doable project you wanna work on or play little snippets of it at a time, make small goals for yourself cause if you do try to make huge unrealistic goals for yourself you’ll just get bored cause it takes tons of dedication and time for a person to complete these projects.
#4 Take breaks
Theirs no need to play Minecraft all the time, trust me I was there too.
Take breaks from Minecraft and play other games until you have a new idea or in the mood to obtain a certain item or build a certain structure, Minecraft will always be their if you want to play again at some point.
#5 The Only Limit is Your Imagination
i know they say that in the trailer, but it’s true, this game requires you to be imaginative, it’s not about PVP, Exploration, or Beating the Enderdragon, it’s a Sandbox game where it lets you do whatever you want if you have the materials for it, for example Copper, it’s not a progression item, it’s a item meant for building, just look at what people can build with it just by using their imagination alone, the game makes you collect more blocks by exploring so your imagination can run wild, but if you don’t want to do that, Play on a SMP watch your community grow or go on a server and play some mini games it’s all up to you, and if you say that Minecraft is boring, Minecraft is not boring, you are, cause your imagination clearly doesn’t work anymore and you’ve forgotten it, it’s all up to you on how you play.
