Infected Village? (Xbox 360)

Today, my little brother was looking for his "perfect world" on the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft, when he came upon something a little unexpected. He found a village in the taiga biome...but this village was made up of only zombie priest/cleric villagers. I know that zombies did not just kill the villagers because it was the first day of the world. Also, there were no torches in the village, cob web in some of the houses, and some of the cobblestone was replaced with mossy cobblestone.
I looked on the Minecraft Wiki, but I didn't see anything about this. Has anyone else seen this?

Yah, not long after I posted this, I saw that the Minecraft Wiki talked about it in the Village section.

I must say your brother have found something that an old timer like me has never managed to find :'D
What he stumbled upon is a Zombie Village (Surpise!)
They have a 2% chance of spawning when you create a new world, and that is Very Very low. Considering that finding a Skeleton Horse Trap is 5%, you could say you're pretty lucky to have found such a village ;D
