Java Or Bedrock — Which One Do You Like More?
It’s been 11 years since Minecraft officially released and there have been two major versions, Java and Bedrock. But… In a world like ours #NotOurWorld, whoever is strongest is on top. So lets settle the dispute between the two.

I haven't even played bedrock...
1
Ohhhh, umm I’ve played both.

You realize there is a thread that has been running for years where people debate this.
1
Uhh, well i ran out of good ideas so i decided to do this until next time…

Yet another Java vs Bedrock, how original.

Idk. I could tell it wasn’t og but idk I needed a new #NotMineCraftWar2, definitely console wars post or something.

Java

Java, for mods, more options, shaders & optifine :D
2
I admit it. Java vs Bedrock — Mods) Java obliterates Bedrock, and shaders is a pretty big deal for me. Better graphics is nice.
2
Yahh but it's so sad that it's nearly impossible to player larger modpacks with shaders :/
Performance is bad then (it's already difficult depending on what you're building and how many mods even without shaders :o)
and there are visual bugs, like things not being rendered correctly saadly
I wish minecraft would have support for colored lights

Well if your willing to spend like $3000 then get a rtx 30 series graphics card, and you can use rtx in minecraft bug free but it’s expensive.
2
I don't have a gpu with raytracing :(
just have seen a few vids of bedrock with raytracing, java with shaders still look better except for the light :D

“Salesman Mode” Well if you are ever interesested with rtx minecraft get the rtx 3050 for less than 500$ *CAD and USD* *True Fact*

As a server owner i love Java, but i know Bedrock has more graphic options which is cool. I don't like having to choose between server customization OR graphical power. I think they need to combine idk why 2 versions makes sense at all, even giving it to us for free is strange because you need to use one or the other. i want the graphics in java on my server. Microsofts fault
2
Well, I’m pretty sure Microsoft or Mojang? Is trying to make Java and Bedrock more and more similiar.
2
CAN WE HAVE A MOD LOCK THIS THREAD?
:D
Quick!
:D
Quick!

Wait a minute, won’t this post last forever? Cause I put it so the poll lasts forever. Or will it be removed?
2
It will last for ever, unless people start squabbling and the moderaters lock the thread. :)
As long as no-one gets seriously riled it shouldn't be taken down. I don't really think this will happen, I was just joking.
Anyway, yeah, several threads with roughly the same title have been locked because people get seriously p***ed off with one another.

For reasons stated in another comment, I actually think that Bedrock Edition is (barely) the superior version, but Java Edition is more suitable to my personal interests
3
Same for me, I mainly care about graphics and there is Hypixel. But Bedrock Edition I have used for most of my life so I’m not quite used to it yet.
3
Both are perfectly fine, Bedrock is much more compatible cross platform and runs better without the need for third party mods. Java has a fantastic(And much larger) free content community, And thus more resources for making content. But other than that nowadays they're basically on the same level.
2
Yeah, that is mostly true. In Java there is way too many settings which is a plus for me. But, when it comes to bedrock edition the accessability and multiplayer is fabulous.
2
Honestly, I beg to differ on the accessibility point. Distortion effects can be turned off, same with FOV effects, monochrome Mojang logo (ok that's mostly a joke :P). And also since resource packs/data packs/mods exist in a much bigger way in Java. Dark UI, for instance, isn't very easy to get if you are on - say, non-rooted Android - and my eyes can't look at the default UI anymore :P

Lol, I get it were on the same page. Mods are a pretty big deal atleast for minecraft. Mods = Unlimited Possibilities
No Mods = Possibilities
