Everyone hates mob updates XD

Caves need more love, they're almost key to a survival game as you usually tend to need to go in one, or a ravine, to get to the precious iron, redstone and diamonds, and eventually an end portal. As of now, they're just tunnels, ore hotspots, and monster zones.
There was a video where a minecraft youtuber redid a cave system with an ore pit with lava traps and an Indiana Jones type booby-trap where the cave "collapsed" (as in gravel fell from the ceiling at random) and other cool things. Imagine if they had underground temples like that or similar. You know those areas where it's just one open space? How about turning things like those into underground villages, for villagers, pillagers, or a new mob like a dwarf or something similar. How about make mineshafts better with more tunnels, old tool crates, small processing plants for the ore, and miners/undead miners? Or underground temples Indiana Jones style? How about a rare spawing pocket where you find an ancient underground monster and make it a new kind of boss battle for diamonds or a new kind of loot?

Caves need more love, definitely, preferably less "heres a new block" and more using what blocks we already have (such as sandstone, andesite, graphite, etc) to create new and interesting caves and cave systems to be found and explored.
