I've just started learning Blender, so here's the stuff I've made so far.

I agree. I was trying to do the same desturating starbust effect as the red background, but I couldn't remember how to make it.

Looks pretty good. I'm not a fan of the darker blue in the second picture but it doesn't look too bad.
