Is this a good SMP Logo?

Okay, so me and some buddies are starting an SMP-Like thing, very altered from the original idea, but still Survival MultiPlayer so I guess it's still an SMP. Anyways, it'll be called "The Odyssey" and will base around me and my two friends who are starting this. So I based the logo around just that - I still need to add text, but tell me what you think?

Okay, so I've spent about 45 minutes on this, trying and failing and I think this came out pretty cool. What do you guys think? Did I improve, is there anything else I should fix? http://gyazo.com/8ea352c0b9b6e0f6213fdf9580c11d60

Nice job. However.. I must agree, more shading would be nice.

Maybe some more Shading and texture on the face but Excellent. I wouldn't be able to produce that splendid artwork.

It could use a bit more shading. But otherwise very very good.

Thanks! I'll look up some shading techniques, I know i've always had trouble. I don't wanna use brushes, though - I want to keep it smooth. I'm sure theres a way, thanks!
