Hey guys!
So early this morning I decided that I'd draw this wolf. It's my first proper computer drawing (by that I mean it's like my first piece of computer artwork, other than skins if you'd count those as computer art) and I'd like to know what you think.

Note: The image is too big to post here so here's a link to it:

If you don't have a tablet I recommend getting a tablet it can be a Bamboo or introus one from Wacom both are pretty cheap and work very well! But if you don't have a tablet then take out a piece of paper and a 2b or 3b pencil (normal pencil) and make sure its sharpened. First start out practicing with proportions and working with keeping everyone thing lose and keep adding everything from there before going onto shading and texture. I recommend looking into these tutorials to get more comfortable with drawing, just don't use a mouse when drawing on the computer! It could lead to injuries when doing so!

Sorry for tough criticism, but if you are really young, it's great but if you are 12 and over, it is really child like, and not worth average standards. I recommend you a Wacom Tablet for precise drawing! Good luck

I'm 12, thank you very much. Sorry that my mum's a single parent and can't afford a drawing tablet for me. Tell me why it's child like. This isn't fantasy land where you can just get money from a tree. Thanks for making me feel totally bad about myself.

It's good, but it might need some work. Some of the lines are really messy, and it could use some shading.

I agree about the shading part, but I really tried with the lines. I don't have one of those drawing pads so I can't do it perfectly neat.

Making neat lines with a mouse IS pretty difficult, but with some practice you could perfect it a bit. I'm relatively good at drawing with a mouse, but it's still a bit tough.

You don't need the wacom bamboo tablets to make it perfectly neat. More lines equal more smoothness, and if you're using Adobe Photoshop, their are tools/filters that you can use to make smooth lines. Oh, also wacom tablets are like 70$

It's amazing by my standards. The wolf seems kinda pink but that may just be because i'm colourblind.

That seems more like it. Not that theres anything wrong with it but it'd be kinda strange to make a grey-pink wolf.
