A friend of mine got me to play it some time ago, and I really hooked up on it. I am playing it on a dedicated server, is anyone else playing it like that? I tried a demo first then went to server hosting for Minecraft.

I used https://comparegameservers.com to find the best minecraft servers, went with a company called www.citadelservers.com in the end, seemed to offer the best pricing and so far so good.

anonpmc2558251 and I are both adults too o/ and we host our own server, PhrozenCookie. It's currently in progress of a complete overhaul but we'll be back up soon enough. 😊

We don't use a Minecraft server host. We rent a VPS with a datacenter in our country 😊 soon we'll be moving to renting a dedicated server.

Do you use Java or Bedrock first? I have a crew of people that plays mini games on Saturday night like purge, sky wars, hunger games, murder mystery, hide and seek and a few others. The member ages being 13 to 50. I'm the main leader and I'm in my 30's, so you're not the only adult out there. Just let me know if this is something you might like to check out. Thank you.

Oh, and for me I usually just play LAN, but most of the time I use Minecraft for making machinimas. To me machinima making is the ultimate way to play Minecraft.

It's an Danish server but we have some eng speaking ppl. on..

The only one's not playing on my srv. are my children's ...almost... :)
I have a lot of adults on my server "over 30" and one admin that is 70 yrs old.... so you will be surprised how many old ppl. plays Minecraft.

Can also confirm. Am (recently) over 30, never played many video games in my life, but Minecraft is the only game I play outside of one other mobile game, which I only check once or twice daily for less than 2 minutes anyway. I also ran a MC server and realm for over 2 years.
Though I'm currently unaffiliated with any servers online at the moment (no internet for Java machine).

I am here, yes I was thinking of hosting and tried CGH on link and it worked fine, but I would like to hear other people opinions as well, did they try hosting with friends, how did it work etc.
