Building Tips and Tricks
Here are some tips and tricks on building a house (Not a large scale project):
1. The first and most important thing is shape. A square wooden box looks very bland, but if you make maybe an L shaped wooden box, it's a lot more interesting. Usually when people outline their shape they may make a floor plan, which basically means they build into the ground to outline the shape. You can also make wooden posts to outline the shape a little bit better, though this works better for bigger projects.
2. Another thing that is important is texture. There are two extremes in texture, bland with only a few blocks throughout the build and chaotic with many blocks throughout the build. Having a texture on a house chaotic can be good with maybe a haunted, broken down looking house, or a chaotic looking house, but usually, you want to stick to maybe 6-15 blocks. (15 is cutting it close)
3. One more important thing is depth. Depth is making a wall in your house less boring and have many layers to it. A way to give a house depth is to use panes instead of glass blocks, which will add space between the wall and the window. You can also use slabs, trapdoors, and other things to give a wall depth.
Yeah so I hope I did a good job on explaining how to build a good mc house. Thanks for reading
