1. The Caved In Project. I like to think that its a little too "high". I mean as in the buildings are too tall. It doesn't leave enough space for the actual cave to be made out. I like the amount of detail, but the buildings seem a little too similar. Try making them stand out individually more.
2. The Falentia. Awesome! I love the red decal on top, as well as the large ion cannons(if thats what they are). I think you could've worked on the engine more, like maybe make some flames come out of the back, or atleast some light back there. Otherwise, AWESOME!

thanks, to be honest i would have orignally tied a story into it as it was going to be for the the previous contest however i missed the deadline. If i ever get the spare time ill create a story for it but dont count on it haha!

I think you did a really good job. I like the whole out look of things and i believe it would be great to tie a story to it. If you ever do that let me know then i could do a little Let's Play for it and once again good job!

Thanks, and its nice to get constructive feedback, yeah i agree about the vines i really dont know why i added them. The fact about brightness I have to say i was having a few problems with that trying to find the right contrast between it looking over lit but on the other hand i wanted it all sort of visible and you can see it from the vantage points.?

It almost doesn't feel underground enough. When I build things, I try to make them conform with the theme of the landscape more, such as choosing darker colors to build with.
The lighting feels slightly too bright; When building in dark environments try to stick to that theme.
You should also try to go a bit easier on the detailwork. Too much detail (note: vines create a lot of static) can create too many focal points and keep the viewer's point of focus moving too much; just try to create one point of focus and center the area around it on that point, but it has to be a legitimately important spot in the build, such as the clock on a clocktower. You may have gone overkill on the vines.
Besides that, the build seems well planned.
The multiple layers of building was a neat concept, the bridges were well executed, and the detail all fit under the same theme. The detail on the houses' walls was nice (brick n' wool/lime)
The idea was creative (underground hot air balloons and stuff of the sort) and well executed.
Sorry I really focused on the negative parts as opposed to the other things. Anyhow, left some of those compressed coal thingies behind at the project. You did a nice job, and you deserve them.
