Vech's Super Hostile maps are really interesting, super hard though and probably completely busted by todays' mechanics.

I think you'll like the first two eras of my dungeon adventurers. They are single player dungeons I made for my friend back in 2012. There should be enough dungeons for you to crawl through to occupy your evening. There is a 3rd era but its 2017+. Check out my profile to find them.



I wouldn't know of any other adventure maps from the time period besides, you know Herobrine's Mansion but I bet you know about it already.
