Laptop for around 400$?

My girlfriend is getting a new laptop. She has around 400$ to spend on it. She's a gamer, so something that could run games on decent settings would be nice. Any recommendations? Obviously a nice gaming laptop that runs on really good settings is about twice that price, but she's only got about 400$ to spend. Thanks for any help!

i would recommend a diy laptop also called a partial laptop where you can choose your cpu, hard drive, and ram while you can upgrade this laptop its cheaper to buy an empty one and buy extra parts to get it running(oh and dont forget building your own you can save up to $100 on windows by downloading linux for FREE!)

I just got a Toshiba laptop, it is about $400 dollars. That was the price for the Black Friday deal though. It runs decently, so I wouldn't recommend for heavy games.

There are so many Toshiba laptops, you'll need to be more specific. OP, I would recommend a Lenove laptop. Not sure what model, but they are a good brand to buy from and are trusted by many. I am speaking from personal experience.
