Since the dawn of time in Adea, war has never been quite foreign. Many kindoms have risen, yet, many have fallen in the past. War has become something that shaped the world of Adea into what it is today. As can be expected, present time is no exception to the seemingly neverending chain of wars. This time, though, things are different.
A long time ago, The kingdom of Illisi invaded Cravonia. But what should have been a quick defeat for Cravonia, a young nation, didn't go as planned. Reports from the battlefield often mentioned people with extraordinary gifts. These people sometimes strong enough to kill hundreds of men without receiving so much as a scratch. For a while, it seemed Cravonia had experimented on its soldiers. Done something to them to make them the way they were. But quickly, that assumption changed. Suddenly, the same thing began to happen in the Illisi lines. More "gifted" people emerged from the ranks. Nobody seemed to know where they came from, or what their purpose was. The people themselves, when questioned, seemed to know as much as anyone else did. Yet they all had something in common. They all had been reported fatally wounded at some point in the battle. Quickly, the war was called off. Both rulers agreed that untill the mystery was solved, there was no reason to be fighting a war of immortals. The "chosen dead" as they soon were called, seemed to die off, yet this time, they didn't come back. Once again, Adea was at peace.
Eventually, the events were forgotten. They became nothing but fairy tales. Epic battles fought between the dead, that could be told to children at night. As always, Adea's peace wasn't to last forever.
Once again, Illisi and Cravonia have grown distant. Quickly they have come to hate eachother. As can be expected, the general consensus is that another war will start. Each side waiting to make the first move. And already, the chosen have come to surface. And not only that, but they have come to create their own civilization. In the southern Island region of Draad.

The Nations:
Illisi:
Originally, Illisi was a barren land, its people torn into small factions, fighting for what resources they could find. It is said, that Krim Arnil, the first king of Illisi, brought the factions together. Which turned the once torn lands of Illisi into a kingdom, where the people lived in harmony. One century after its birth, Illisi was taken into the hands of the Omun family. Who quickly made Illisi's military force their number one concern.
Illisi is now under the control of Jirai Omun, a man who very few people knew much about. Not through choice, but fear of the danger that said knowledge can put on them. Quick to oppose anyone who threatened his power, Jirai has begun planning a war on Cravonia. His only threat that he knows of, thus far.
Cravonia:
Cravonia was still a young, yet thriving nation when the Omun family took over in Illisi. It's second king, Xeas Strider, was the first and last king, untill now, to see war. It had been the same war in which the chosen had arrived, and the same war that was called off. Noting Illisi's hostility, Cravonia has worked on its defenses, and this time, is much more prepared for the war.
Cravonia is now under the rule of Orinas Strider. A wise king, whose people come before the war. Though Orinas does see that war is inevitable, and has recently begun to build up whatever force he can to keep the Illisites away from his kingdom.
Draad:
Draad is a new kingdom. So new, in fact, that Orinas and Jirai have yet to recognize it as anything potentially dangerous, as the kingdom is poor as a whole. And yet, they have no idea how wrong they are. Most of Draad's population consists of chosen, who aim to stop the never ending war between its two elder nations. Even if it takes starting a war of their own. What Draad lacks in quantity, it makes up for in quality. Draad's army is small, but most of it consists of the chosen that helped to build the kingdom.
Draad is now under the rule of Narcia Kairu. Often called "mother" by her people for her personality. Though a kind woman, she won't give up on any of her goals easily.

Illisi:
Illisi is the entirety of the eastern continent. Which spans more horizontally (east to west) across a map, than it does vertically. (north to south)
Cravonia:
Cravonia spans over most of the western continent. Though big, it doesn't really compare to Illisi. ((The rest of the western continent is inhabited, but the people here live off the land for themselves.))
Draad:
Draad is located on a much smaller mass of land located in the southern hemisphere between the east and west continents.

You are dead. Yet, all things are born anew. As is the case with you. Only this time, you seem to have gained a sort of power that you can control on your whim. Not only that, but this "power" seems to reflect upon how you died. ((Example here: You died of asphixiation? Somehow you can choke people without physically choking them.)) You were chosen by the goddess of death to hold onto your life. All of the people like you have a purpose, a reason they were sent back. Whether it was simply to fight others of your kind, or to change history itself.
