The Curse Of The Necromancer

Story: A dangerous necromancer, called Xerophours, had disrupted the peace between the kingdoms. War has been ragging on in the lands and an
army lead by their king, which was named Sir Franis Turbin, went to the necromancers kingdom and attacked it, killing the necromancer. The necromancers final spell was a curse put
upon the land, but there is no way to reverse it now. The days of the war between kingdoms gets worse and worse, bringing in terrible, and
sometimes deadly, diseases. Only the bravest of people may save the land now. The goal of the heroes is to find a possible heir of the
necromancer in hope of reversing the curse, return balance to the kingdoms, and protect the land from any further danger. For instance, an evil
Lich king trying to take over the land.

Leonine: A race of lion like humanoids known for their architecture and craftsmanship they are one of the races that deal with the most strife
due to the tyrannical rule of their lands Nicomedia, Antioch and Tyana

Runari: A race of intelligent wolf like creatures with incredible magical ability they live a nomadic life and are probably the most peaceful
race to exist they also refuse to fight despite having quite a bit of power (Note: They are quadrupeds so they pretty much look like ordinary
wolves except a little bit metallic).
Their names are all randomly decided think of anything

beautiful island suspended by powerful magic unfortunately because they have to fly they have hollow bones making them weak to any strong hit.

The are all unwilling as though as in the past their land was conquered by the Leonine and now they are considered second class citizens

Demons: Little is know of the demons of the fallen kingdom of Lyonesse except that their appearance is incredibly variant They range from
grotesque monsters to near humans they are not a part of the war but almost everyone from anywhere suspects them as being the main cause of the

Their is one really convention to demon names but if one thing is for sure there are no demons named Bob or Fluffy instead think of names such
as Malchar or Mesphistopheles you know names that sound interesting.

bulbous head that resembles an octopus they were the remains of a once great race used to rule everything in Belfan but nearly died out due to
illness caught from the 'lesser races' their xenophobic nature knows no bonds and their magical capabilities are legendary.

Although they are the same species the 5 clans are consequently in war with each other due to the disagreements between the clan members. They use a type of magic that has been banned for years, but the magical energy that generates their magic is running out and fast. Now they are trying to learn a new type of magic so they can still be magical. The clans though, won't team up with each, but they will do whatever means necessary to gain new magic.
Clans: Returian, Frotisu, Mukiroo, Brigyt, and Darkinus
Shapeshifters: Shapeshifters can be born from ordinary families and be granted the ability to shapeshift into various things, but only up to a certain amount. List the forms in backstory.
Rules:
[1] No godmodding!
[2] No story derailing/hijacking
[3] No upgrading unless you make sure it's okay from an acceptor or thread maker (and it isn't something like Derp finds a shining sword left on the ground picks it up and looks at it's inscription which in ancient tongue says Excalibur).
[4] No teleporting! Think of distance okay like if a kidnapping is happening in a forest and you’re in a city and you somehow manage to rush to their aid!
[5] You can make up your own race but please give a description of what they are like with a full set of information such as name of kingdom or empire or nomadic tribe(It has to be an already existing kingdom or empire but you can make your own nomadic tribes) .
[6] No Mary/Gary Sues! they really ruin things
[7] Keep conflict realistic, try not to attack everyone you meet.
[8] Make sure your romances do not go beyond what you might see in a PG-13 film.
[9] Acceptors ruling is final if your app is denied no complaining
[10] Try not to post one liners in roleplay.
[11] Do your best when it comes to your application.
[12] Feel free to make as many characters as you like, an application for each of course.

Backstory:Aeezihr was once the Gargoyle of an ancient king , sworn to protect him. But the king was killed by a necromancer. Aeezihr tried his best to protect him, but a necromancer is unstoppable of course. Once the king was dead, the necromancer wanted to convince Aeezihr to work for him, because he was impressed by his power.
Aeezihr declined and kept attacking him, because he didn't want to live when he let his master die. But by doing so, he recieved the wrath of the necromancer. the necromancer knew why he kept attacking, and he gave him the biggest punishement possible: he cursed Aeezihr , he could never die, or be friendly to any creature. whenever he saw another creature, he would go in rage, killing it so.

He studied and studied,and he didn't find any clue towards it.
So,he moved to the land of Ivalice,being friends with the Aegyl from the time his rider was alive.He moved there to study even more,but without any luck. So,the only thing that came to Glaedr's mind was that he should go to war with the Aegyl. As he thought that,he realized that since the Elves were his allies,they should be allies with the Aegyl. And that was where his adventure against the curse started...
Anything else: If you think that the thing that they're allies with the Elves and the Aegyl is too overpowered,i'll change that.

Everyday he wandered the streets, looking for a mage to teach him the ways of magic, but after many years of searching he gave up hope, so, he became a librarian in the King's Castle. He practically lived in the library. When no one was looking for a book, he would read books about magic, wishing he could find a decent teacher, he didn't have the intelligence to teach himself.
One day, what looked like a hermit entered the library. Xalek sighed. Hermits never wanted to read, they just wanted a place to stay. "May I help you with anything, sir?" Xalek asked. The hermit scratched his chin. "That book, up there." The hermit said, pointing to the very top shelf of a nearby book case. "The Trial of the Mages." Xalek started up the stairs, heading toward the book. He had read that book before, he hoped it would teach him something, but it was a novel, no teachings in it. Xalek returned to the hermit with the book. "Thank you." The hermit said, examining the book, and then placing it on a desk beside him. "You seem, unsatisfied with your current occupation." Xalek arched an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" He asked. "You don't want to be a librarian, you want to be something...Something more." Xalek was very confused, because the hermit was right. "Well, I've always wanted to become a mage." The hermit laughed. "Well then, it's good you got the book for me! I can teach you to become a mage!" Xalek didn't believe him. "Show me your magic." He demanded. The mage reached out his hand, levitated the book, and put it back in the shelf. Xalek was shocked. "When do we start?" He asked. "Oh, so eager." The mage said. "We will start here, tomorrow, at sunrise."
Xalek patiently waited in the library, in the exact spot the mage told him to go. He checked out the window, the sun was rising. Just as he did, the mage entered the library, holding a dusty map. He sat in a chair across from Xalek, and folded the map onto a nearby table. He blew on the map, getting rid of the dust. "We are here." The mage said, "You need to go here, here, here, and here." He finished, circling four spots on opposite edges of the map. "Ask the nearby villages to participate in the Trial of the Mages, when you do, show them this," The mage pulled out what looked like an eagle talon, "the villagers will tell you what to do next. It will be a long, grueling journey, are you willing to do it?" The mage asked. Xalek hesitated for a moment then replied. "Yes." He said. "Then begone!" The mage said.
Six months later...
Xalek walked forward, into the kingdom, his long journey was complete. All he had to do was give the relics to the mage, and he would finally become a mage himself. Xalek entered the library, and saw the mage, looking out the window, in the same chair he left him in six months ago. Xalek was about to speak when the mage said. "Welcome back." Xalek grinned. "I have the artifacts you requested." "Good, good." The mage said, "Put them on the table." Xalek did as he was told, and placed the four relics on the table. The mage focused on each four of the relics, and then they began to levitate, high into the air, then, they exploded, but the shards stayed in the air, and they began to spin, they spun together, making a beautiful show for the two, then, they stopped spinning. The shards were in the exact same place as they were before, then, the shards collided, creating one golden relic. The relic slowly fell down to the table, and when it hit the table, it did not shatter. "Focus on the relic." The mage said. Xalek closed his eyes, pushed out all other thoughts, and only thought of the relic. "Open your eyes." The mage said. Xalek opened his eyes, the relic had folded open, revealing a small round object of pure light. "Grab it." The mage said. Xalek did just that, and when he did, the object was gone, instead, he glowed with the light. "Now we can begin your training." The mage said.
A year later...
Xalek was a very quick learner, he mastered all of his teachings in just a year. The relics had also made him very powerful, so powerful that his teacher became jealous, and wanted to take the power for himself. So, when Xalek was asleep, his teacher snuck in, and started casting a spell that would destroy Xalek from the inside, and leave the power from the relics intact. However Xalek awoke during the casting, and shot a foot up in the air, hitting his teacher on the chin, sending him backwards into the wall. Xalek quickly got up, pulled out a dagger, and stabbed his teacher, killing him. Xalek was startled by the attempted murder, but not surprised. His teacher had been acting oddly recently, which led to him keeping a dagger at his side at all times.
The next day, Xalek decided to head to a village a few miles away from the kingdom, to teach any willing to become a mage. He saw the village in the distance as the moon was in the middle of the sky, he was then stopped by a man wearing a cloak that was covering his face. "Hello sir! You look like a very powerful mage!" Xalek was confused. "How do you know I'm a mage?" He asked. "Well have I got an opportunity for you, the man said, dodging the question. "Read this, for ultimate power!" The man pulled out a scroll, and handed it to Xalek. Xalek opened the scroll, and read it. It taught him many powerful things, but little did he know, the scroll was slowly corrupting him, turning his heart dark, and starving him for power. One thing the scroll taught him was devouring power from other mages. He decided he would try it out right now. He muttered the ancient words, and the mage who gave him the scroll started to run. He didn't escape. His corpse fell to the ground as his essence filled Xalek. Xalek's eyes glowed with an evil purple, then the glow disappeared. His hunger was sated. For now.

Backstory: Magnus lived a normal life in an area not very much affected by the curse with his younger brother, they were both orphans. The parents had disappeared, but the children slowly managed to live alone.
Eventually Magnus and his brother Massi heard of a tale, of a girl in a tower who can grant wishes. But, it was protected by something so it was dangerous. Massi being cocky against his brother's wishes, tried to break into the tower.
But to no avail, he was stopped instantly. By a demon, who then murdered the eight year old boy. When Magnus found him, the boy had his stomach torn open and multiple burn marks.
~Scene~
The demon laughed, he wore a red hood that covered his body. But I could see his white hair, and face that was covered in blood. He licked what was on his face as a stood frozen in horror, "Boy shoulda' kept himself at home." The demon laughed.
Looking worriedly at the tower, "Who's in that tower?" The demon chuckled some more, "A demon of course you fool," Did she order my brother to be killed? I glared daggers at him. "Well she is half human, but the girl would die without me.
Brain ages as her body does, it's common mistakes like that. A few demons, even a powerful one is like that."
"Who is that?" I asked, "All demons born form rituals are connected to Demon Gods, a certain one created years ago still roams. She's what thirteen hundred?" That's pretty old, "But she looks only thirteen! Haha, she is connected by three demons gods. Unlike the one in the tower connected to one while I am two."
"Have you heard of the Child Killings about seven thousand years ago?" Of course I did, the story went as it did. "A young girl became possessed by a demon and went into a murder spree, for many years. Always in new areas, people who went missing found their skin torn off, missing body parts, and red whine was robbed from the cities."
"Incorrect, our demon Lilith was born as a demon, that is where you're wrong. Her demon gods led her into the killing spree, while the demon cult planned it. She would pretend to be a lost child, and murder them without a second thought. Red whine part is because that's what she drank."
What? Lilith... I had heard that name, thirteen years old? Before mother and father died our neighbor James raised his daughter Lilith until death. She disappeared though but before that, she always had blood in two spots on her head, and always screamed on some nights.
"Lilith, can't be a demon." A chuckle came again with a malicious grin, "Though she is, some human fell in love with her and made her more human. She was an outlaw," the grin came off with a more serious expression. "The cult changes us all, you know."
"Huh?" he did a complete one-eighty. "I never asked for this life, we were born with it so don't hate demons just because how we act. I didn't kill him off of pure hatred, no for protection it is why we kill all other races even ourselves."
The man walked into the tower, I was scared, I held my brother's body walking away with the corpse in my arms. Tears blurring my vision.

Backstory: Almost every death knight that serves the Lich was almost always a brave warrior that fell to another death knight and was turned to an undead monster by necromancy. Such is not the story with Garland Hollander whom was born of one of the descendants of the two servants that raised the Knight Elyan Branduri whom and a Lady knight of the name Alessandra Pureheart. When Garland was born he was raised in a loving manner that could almost be considered 'coddling'. Nothing happened that was significant in his life until he became seventeen years of age in which he became his mother's squire and in his travels with her he met Elwen Branduri. The two fell in love upon looking each other in the eyes much to the displeasure of both of their mothers. So while they were still in the same city Elwen and Garland would sneak out at night and engage plan their elopement. There happiness ended when Garland's mother found out about the coming war and insisted Garland must follow. The two said their final goodbyes and parted ways. It took more than five years of training before Garland was officially knighted and fought alongside his mother in battle. On his third battle with the undead forces he accidentally struck his mother with his blade when he was fighting undead and grievously wounded her. He then attempted to desert mid way in the battle find Elwen and then try to whisk her off to a safe land. Unfortunately he ended up colliding into the Lord Commander of the death knights. He was terrified of the Lord Commander's sheer size and power and began begging for mercy. The Lord Commander simply laughed and then knocked him out. He woke up in a room getting subjected to horrible torture for more than five years The Lord Commander in the meanwhile kept referring to the torture as 'The only true mercy'. After the torture was complete Garland was left scarred beyond belief emotionally. Unable to rid himself of the image of him leaving his mother for dead on the battlefield and with lost faith in the gods he was finally indoctrinated in the death knight order.

Whatever the reason is nonetheless it now exists and had for some reason joined the Lich in his depraved quest and because of it's sheer brutality in battle and it's skill as a strategist it was given the position of Lord Commander of the Death Knights. An order of elite warriors who serve the Lich and act as generals for the undead legions.

Backstory:Elyan was a well known hero born of a brave knight and beautiful noblewoman who met each other in a tourney which his father won against all odds. His father was brutally murdered two years after the wedding by a jealous lover and his mother commit suicide three years after the murder after taking her own life after receiving constant death threats from the very same murderer. Elyan then grew up with a maidservant and manservant becoming his foster parents teaching him the chivalric way and the greatness of his parents. When he reached the age of 19 started questing. He went through many a quest until he came across the quest of slaying the Miraak a deadly nine headed Chimera that was itself a symbol of death in many cultures. On this quest he met a beautiful Elven Sorceress and the two combined their efforts and slew the foul beast. The two then kept in touch and eventually fell in love. In the winter they married and a year later on the same day as they were married they had a child. The two decided to name her Elwen and the two lived happily for a long time. Elyan and his wife eventually ended up arguing about the curse and him doing his part in a coming war against the undead and eventually divorced. When he joined the army for his first battle against the undead he was too distraught to think straight and ended up getting impaled by the Lord Commander of The necromancer's Death Knights as his life slowly faded away he heard the words "Death is only the beginning". He then woke up after the battle in a field of corpses his mind filled with demented thoughts and a determination to kill all life there is he was then greeted by his own killer and was welcomed into the Order of the death knights.

Yes he is a servant of the lich.....I thought the connection would have been easy to make due to the quote refering to the death knights of the Grand Lich and the fact that they were slain by the Lord Commander of the Necromancer's Death knights and indoctrinated into the very same order. Also I simply looked up Death Knight on Deviantart and found this picture after searching for a bit.

Backstory: In an alternate universe...
When born, Xia had been cast as an outsider. Her mother was a shape-shifter her true form as a dragon, although she had been able to use a human one as well. When her mother met her husband, an ordinary human. She over-time fell in love, then had Xia.
One her mother's family learned about this, nothing went well for a while. Her grandfather enraged at the half-human child killed his son-in-law. While forced to live on the streets as a child, Xia was adopted by a man.
The man helped her hide her dragon-like qualities and taught her the way of fire magic. He raised her with a normal life, although she would go on adventures. The man had fallen ill when she was fourteen, so Xia made as much money as she could to help her foster-father.
But to no avail, he died after seven months of being sick. Xia moved on after that keeping an old letter from him. Along with his book of spells. Xia became a fierce fighter at the age of fourteen and a half.
When visiting a town, she heard that ghouls would kill everyone. So she decided before going to face her grandparents when eighteen she would prepare for this trip. Her lifespan increased, she made many months of mental and physical preparations for the trip.
When she visited at the age of seventeen, she fought many creatures alone. The inhabitants were monstrous, so she fled the town. Xia had no idea about a wrathful demon who came her way. Pretending to be a lost little girl. Xia let her guard down, and when they were near a well.
The girl revealed herself to be the demon Lilith. She had been sent here to kill this imbecile. Xia tried with all her strength, but it was useless. "Resistance is futile," the girl said laughing "Go to sleep, Xia." And with that Xia was pushed into the well and drowned.
But, a bird was her last glimpse, before moving on the spirit asked her to become his servant. By servant he meant to make her the next spirit. He was the golden phoenix, she could be the next him.
Xia agreed since the bird sounded desperate, for many years in the "after-life". Xia studied about her role, she would be called The Birds Dancer, a woman who dedicated her life to serving the phoenix then becoming one after fulfilling her role at the time.
So when needed to gain more experience, Xia was sent back into the world with being half dragon and human. Her spirit powers locked, but unknown to her when she hatched from the egg. She would have no memories, and create a being called Jya.
Anything else: Lilith, was the one from the alternate universe. So basically, Xia had very little experience with people so she was sent to live a life, with amnesia. A strange bird tattoo of the phoenix which locks her powers as a spirit in training. And Jya has no real story but she is the opposite of Xia and her spirit so she will kill Xia. Her app will have really no backstory since most of it is explained in here.

Although this was a lie, they said she would have to be born a special way. Which was how they made the ceremony, using the blood of three demons Insanitia, Grheed, Hatria.
Every child is born their race, but if there is a ceremony during their birth that's how they become humans. Or if their parents are both demons, there needs to be a ceremony to make sure the child has their demonic powers. Or they'll end up dying at birth.
The woman who is pregnant will die, since a demon birth is impossible to comprehend unless being a demon yourself.

he became a great and feared demon he soon hired a blacksmith to forge him his sword he then got the cult wizard to enchant it he enchanted it to allow blood magic to be used with it.Xemna then left to a small town of Drenia where he will stay at the inn and domissions to earn gold so he can buy a home but then newsof an attack on Gladia made him Detour to find outwhat it is about.

Backstory: Unlike her older brother, Aliona was not born a full demon. Like others in the demon cult, she was somewhat of a success. A demon had a child, the man's child was successfully born. In a different way from Lilith, where the woman didn't die.
The demon had been cursed though, the mother was turned into a human. The other demon, the father, had realized this to late and knew his wife was going to die. Which in the end she did, although she didn't mind.
Aliona was a pair of twins, but when her mother became human. The children were affected as well, making the two souls into one. With only one child, but it wouldn't matter since the other girl would become a stillborn if the incident didn't happen.
The cult found little use of the child, so they put her in a big tower.
Nobody would go nearby since it was a disease widespread area for many years. Leaving the lonely child to read books, once in a while Alonia's brother would visit. She became a shut-in, only sneaking out when her brother visited. But the girl was always doing something in there, Alonia even made clothes for herself after finishing all of the tailoring kind of books.
Her demonic powers were more like Medusa eyes. So Alonia liked being alone, although her eyes didn't always effect people. Her ability if tried on demons, will put to much strain on her body. So she likes the tower, never daring to leave.
Alonia was soon forgotten after she was twenty. If it were not for her brother she would be dead. Unlike her brother who was a full demon, and who enjoyed killing. She was more like a human, but every once in a while her demonic side will awaken.
Alonia was known as Rapunzel, by a nearby town that was about to re-locate. They said she was the fable character, but without the hair. Nobody had ever seen her up close, only from a big distance from a small window.
Alonia had read so many books that she would spend hours reading, leaving reality most of the time. She put herself in a fantasy world ignoring most of the real world. Alonia would often make herself like a character, comparing herself to them. She was a monster, trapped in a tower like Rapunzel, and basically became trapped in the world of fiction. Backstory: Born from a powerful dragon's egg, Xindao has wandered throughout hell, lost. He has never known who or what his father is, but knows his father hates him as much as his mother. Having been disturbed psychologically by the dark silhouettes that appeared to him in hell every night, he is quite an insane demon. God turned away from Xindao, ignoring his petty plea for help simply because of what Xindao was. He has born a new flame of passion within his heart, desperation pushing him to break hell.

Mother, father, and God, all having turned their backs on Xindao, will pay. Xindao is the lonely god, who will wage war in attempt to end it all.
Xindao can, and will, break the chains that bind him.

Backstories are my weak spot. On the guild you have to make long detailed posts, but no shits are given upon your app. ((Its usually only 1-2 good paragraphs for an advanced roleplay app))
Of course, I usually have 10 characters, and theres alot of stuff you could do, so long detailed posts are no problem.
