How do you feel about my skins?thumbs_up_down
I’ve been worried for awhile that my skins don’t meet what most other people are doing quality wise. Everyone is making amazing skins with high levels of shading and lighting and I have no idea if my stupid simple style is something anyone even cares for. To be completely honest, I don’t know how you guys do it.
Be honest- please. I need to know if I’m doing something wrong
1 is the worst and 5 is the best. You can also tell me what you’d like me to change and what you like that you would never want to change.
also please give me tips cause I can’t hue shift-

Uh idk I think your skins are pretty good tbh
Maybe you could improve on the light sources because that's what I've been trying too -////-.
Love, Ang who eats a lot of cereal.

I am not skin-creator so please to everything I say with a Huge grain of salt :)
I think your skins are quite good in terms of colour-choices and consistency with a specific 'CatUnicorn123-style'. My only real critique of them is that they look quite messy. It can be hard to differentiate what is actually eyes. The Candi Remake, is a good example. Quickly scrolling through your skins, I didn't notice that character had eyes before I started looking for eyes.
I think that giving the face more attention and making the eyes stand out a bit more from the hair would help your skins become more recognizable. Your Kapp in Different clothe skin would be a good example of a skin where the eyes stand out, and the face becomes more recognizable :)
I hope this somewhat helps you :)

I personally love your skins and think they are really detailed, wonderful, and unique. I love how your skins change depending on your mood and style over time. I can tell you put a lot of work and effort into each and every one of your skins. If I had to say something as a feedback, I'd say maybe branch out (style-wise) a bit more. ^-^ You don't have to if you don't want to but this is just a suggestion, maybe try doing some other style like chibi, or kawaii! It might not be you but I believe it is good to be yourself and to try making a large variety of skins and skin types (Not that you don't but maybe try something new every once in awhile!). Overall I really enjoy your skins and your work in general and I can't find anything else to mention or anything to criticize about your work. You do a great job and so many people appreciate you and your work. Keep it up girl! :D <3 ~
Also do you have anything for me? Any advice for me? Like tips or feedback or anything? I try to do my best and do all styles and what the people (my subs and followers) like but I think I'm missing something to my "Skinning Career". I'd like to improve my work but I'm not sure how! I'm coming to you because you know what you are doing~!
Color on the text makes it better/more fun! :D

hi catunicorn!
you've got great ideas and lots of potential <3.
for the colors, i think that you could work on finding the light source/and work on finding a palette (color wise.)

On the bottom of the foreground color box, it will say "HSL", which means hue, lighness, saturation. You can increase the hue, lightness and make a good palette. There is also a hue shifting mode button two buttons to the right of the draw mode. Press on a pixel on your skin and it'll automatically hue shift.
I'm not sure if this is helpful, since I just started skinning like 3 months ago and my skinning skills are a little bad

Oh wow, thanks- I didn’t realize there was a button for it-

I think your shading is great, but I suggest you can have a little different shading in each skin
2
Oh yeah, my shading is the same on every skin-

I think your skins are great, but I'm not really qualified to give any tips on hue-shifting lol but here's a cool collection of tutorials:
