I created this model in Blender based off this skin I made. It will be used on a trailer for Heroes of Galderon I am making.
The render took about 30 minutes to make, I am pretty happy with the out come. The GIF is big and may take a while to load.

I would suggest looking up some tutorials. Ones that helped me were from Blender Guru and Blender Cookie. Check them out
I just downloaded it from the main blender site. There is no installation, you can just run it once it is downloaded.
