I have recently started making skins - I am quite enjoying it. I recommend it for when you are bored. Anyways, I have made two skins recently (my first two that have been mad from scratch). Check them out on my profile! I may start up a skin request thread soon, don't expect to much as I do the simpler skins and am not an expert on how to make a skin look good, but I can tell if it is good or not.

They don't look good. Learn how to shade, but until then they just don't look good.

Yeah, they could use some shading. If you're using McSkin3D, you can use the darken/lighten tool for that.

Ok dude a review of the skins-
They are a little too flat. Try shading, it will.make them look much better.
