Cauldron Feet Texture Problem

Hello everyone, I'm back again.

This time I am having a problem with the feet of the cauldron.
On the east side of the texture only, the feet have a weird glitch where the texture offsets. I have tried re-creating the texture from scratch, using other packs, etc.,
but the glitch persists. I am using MCPatcher ver.5.0.3

Has anyone encountered this? Should I switch to OptiFine?

It's a bug. https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-66485 and https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-50344

Probably could be fixed by re-modelling with the proper giving the proper UV coords. Removing the improper UV coords doesn't seem to fix it because of MC-66485, but I'm assuming the coords were probably done before projections were officially added to the model system (likely generated using an existing as a tool with the same bug) therefore why they have the issue with mapped coords in the first place.

Ah I see. Maybe with the next patch they will fix it? Oh well then, thanks for the feedback.

Theres nothing you can do. It appears in both Optifine, Vanilla and MCPatcher.
