How to solve the problem of overshadowing in bold characters?

I've implemented the "be able to re-read pre-1.20 font files after 1.20" by using "assets\minecraft\font\default.json", but the shading offset for bold fonts has turned out to be two pixels!

Normally, a shading offset is only one pixel:

Is it just my eyes or am I only seeing the doubling with the Chinese[?] characters? (In particular, the "CSGO' interrupting the top line of Chinese look identical to me.)
If true, that might provide a hint…

Not sure what the point of the thirrd image is, it just looks like a partial listing of unicode character references…

Please publish if and when you find a solution.

Because this resourcepack just replaces the full-width characters.
