I need help with making a texture pack

I need to know if it is at all possible to edit the texture of armor leggings to make arms visible. I want to know because I've been working on one texture pack for a while and I can't figure out how to make a texture for arms on the leggings texture. I know making the whole torso visible is possible, but I don't know if arms are. please give me some answers

Nova skin is a good way to edit the armor as you can just "draw" on the model.

Yes of course you can but for how your gonna make it, it depends the way you making the texture packs... Check out on youtube you will find a video that can help you
