PvP Pack Makers, We Need to Talk
I have noticed a lot of PvP packs recently advertise "fPs BoOsT," but I want to know why? It is a complete lie, a texture pack has little to no effect of fps, so why do they advertise it? Is it just click-bait so the nine year olds of Hypixle download the pack? A new trend? I really don't understand this concept of "Fps boost," in a texture pack, so could someone explain it to me?

This especially applies to minecraft bedrock considering (as a pack developer myself) it's pack implementation can be buggy at best when it comes to certain packs. If anything just having a pack on reduces your fps lol. Now when it comes to rtx... the game just crashes on startup half the time and sometimes the rendering engine just dies, just straight up dies and the screen is blank.

Also if 9 year old sees “fps” they download whatever it is

Some can (not boost) but smoothen ur gameplay (fps) and if you do lower the amount of pixels in an item it can help but at no point is it like a huge boost like example (not self promotion) when I don’t use a pack I average 180-190fps and with my pack I average 190-210 but again it’s not really a boost and I understand your point. Reason why u don’t say “fPS bOoSt” in my titles

I agree… kinda.
You can't boost fps whit a texture pack Is not true. If you made entities/objects smaller that would indeed increase fps. If you were talking about like my cursed bedwars pack then you would be correct. There would be no way to increase fps.

Yes, you are correct... You can increase fps some with a texture pack, but it would have to be a 8x8 or 4x4 resolution pack, and then it would still be almost unnoticeable.

Yes, I agree

I make texturepacks, and I can guaranty you that this is completly true. You can't boost fps whit a texture pack. At least you can make it slower due to loading of the pack XD

Yeah I frankly don't understand it either and I remember when I was playing on a Windows 7 computer for Minecraft every bit of FPS counted and I can confirm these so called fps boosters normally dropped my fps. My fps averaged at 5 frames per second by the way.
