So in 1.4.7 Update, i was creating a texture pack (Almost Done) then they changed the Terrain.png to single files (ARGHHHH) so i restarted, opening file by file, Closing file by file in Photoshop (Gosh it was annoying) So here i am almost done, then guess what RESOURCE PACKS (ARRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH) witch pissed me off so much, i had to get a new Laptop.. anyways i just wish the had it as a Terrain.png and if that got full just make Terrain1.png (DUUHHH) and with the Resource packs, When making texturepacks in the folder it should be like so:

MyResourcePack
Texturepack
Soundpack

then have all the files for sounds in Soundpack, and all the Textures in Texturepack folder. Anyways i hope the do this... so have a nice day

The unstitcher for 1.4.7 - 1.5 is still pinned to the top of the texture pack thread. I feel bad for you c: sorry.

There was an un-stitcher that converted 1.4.7 texture packs to 1.5..... Also, nothing has changed except folder layout for Resource packs, and it only takes a few minutes to update them.

You could convert your texturepack to 1.6 with a texture converter. It's like 1000% faster than doing it manually.
