Hey strangers, I was thinking about how long of a journey it's been just on skindex and pmc alone, so since I love poetry I decided to write a poem on the fly and share it on my skindex account, so here it is here too! <3





Do you ever just look back at how much it took to get here...?

Do you ever think about those you loved and forgot and eventually left behind?...


Am I old, or am I experienced?
Am I loved or am I frail?
Am I sheltered or am I protected?

There is no life where I could have lived this way forever,
Dust lies on the trophies and medals I've loved and lost,
Though I have tried, my work showing past endeavor,
My thoughts rest on the past as I think of the cost.

The cost being nothing and everything at the same time,
My world has been structured from a peaceful heart and wily lie:
That everything could last forever, and everything could be alright,
That all the things I've learned to trust would never have to make me cry.
