Map Ideas


• a series of sky cities connected by railways

• a world-filling city modeled after Bladerunner

• a gigantic beanstalk (or "forest" of them) with towns atop the clouds

• an interconnected town clinging to the sides of a ravine

• an entire village built in the trees

• a sea-hugging city with a canal system for travel

• a rainbow city with differently colored districts

• a world with mirrored light and dark sections

• the world of dreams/nightmares as you imagine it

• a water world with floating island cities...travel by boat

• an inside-out world inside a gigantic "sky sphere" with a sun in its center

• your interpretation of any world from books, movies, or other games (For example, I've built Chalmun's cantina from Star Wars, based on movie stills and floor plans for accuracy, and am working on surrounding it with the rest of Mos Eisley.)




Project Ideas

• a wizard tower that blatantly defies gravity

• a complex "storage container" house

• a sand castle (obviously not made from sand)

• a serious epic pub or restaurant

• a temple based on a religion you created

• a haunted house

• a beautiful public park

• a working windmill and a working lighthouse

• houses inside giant trees or mushrooms

• a bedrock to ceiling tower

• a working orrery (heliocentric model of the solar system)




Now, if my building skills would just catch up to my ideas... :-)

it can be smth from Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones,because fantasy maps are very relevant and I can help you with landscaping

If you do one of those map suggestions, do you think you could make it a multiplayer map (maybe with a story line)?

We don't really have enough multiplayer maps out there.

- The vistor centre from jurrasic world
- A medieval castle that has been abandoned for thousand of years ( fantasy style )
- A cyberpunk monorail station ( Chinese / Japanese architecture style )
- A traveling circus
- A timemachine ( your version of one )
- A group of floating islands ( fantasy style )
- A hidden underground alien base ( hidden on earth underneath a park in a town / city )

Not sure if you have read 'I am number 4' or any book in that series but a map inspired around places in those books would be interesting.
