Can I get some opinions on my website?

Hey guys, Just wondering if I can get some feedback on my website, you can use the comments or the suggestions page (You don't need an improvement to use the suggestions page )

Not that this really matters but I am 14 so I am not a professional web designer, I started this project so I could teach myself html, css and php (obviously it's working! )
Donations are welcome to help support me pay for hosting and domain ownership.
About the site:
Minesnap has been an on/off project since around april of 2014. I made this website entirely from scratch, no website builders. Just a text editor and an apache server (and mysql of course). I purchased the domain in may and have worked on the site since then. I have just finished the password hashing and salting algorithms so now I can finally allow for users to register securely!
Most features work although the gallery is only temporary, I plan to have individual user galleries . (Might take a while to program but hopefully I get motivated to do so)

Secondly, the site is probably slow because I am hosting it on my old laptop connected the the internet at speeds of 1mbps upload. This is why I need donations for hosting

Not bad of an idea, but I'm personally against it because anyone can just use a standard image sharer (many people use Imgur for purposes like these). I'd suggest adding something a bit more special to the soup.

The link does take forever to load--and then crashes and tells me that it does not exist.
Have you updated the link since you posted this thread without updating the original link in the first post?
Or is your site not compatible with other browsers (like Chrome)?

Seems very basic. The font should be defenetly upgraded. Also, use lower resolution pics beacuse they load slower than on any other website.

Also a name and description for the screenshot would help keep things organised, and also lay he foundations for some sort of search feature.

Maybe have a personal gallery and a public one, and a tick box to say if you want it to be public or private.

I like the idea of the website I think it will be really cool! The actual design could be spiced up a bit with a different font and some newer looking backgrounds to make the website a little bit more "up to date" if you get what I mean. Right now it looks like something people were creating in 2004, but because you are doing this by yourself I must give you props for that.

Your index.php defines the doctype a second time half way down the page and also has a html open tag and a set of head tags within the body tag.
...but apart from that not bad, looks sorta "bland" though.

For your age this is very neat and tidy (code and design) and from a quick look at your source code via what i can see on the built in browser source code viewers it seems to function well.
Other than minor issues with outdated code or code that can be condensed you have a good understanding and start to website creation

Make the letters more bold,not like this,but at least so I can see it.I can't seem to find rules anywhere. (I'll edit as I search more)In the gallery the pictures are really small. I can't view builds, and if you add that get a Most Popular, Most New, etc.I also recommend adding added new things to browse or upload. Also, the website isn't slow for me.(Just read your post.) 3.9/10

I like the comsept of having to post evidence. Try adding a world save! I know its a work in progress. I give it a 6/10 but im sure if you put it together a 9/10. I also gave it a YEAH on the poll

The layout looks okay, quite nice actually. But the colours, eww xD Also the spacing isn't very well done, on the registration/login form the pinkish part is too close the the button.

Lose the pound symbol and replace with £ I believe it is. The header on the info page is slightly different to the other pages, except the gallery page which doesn't have a header at all. That intentional? Load time for the images was horrid (sorry). Check the file sizes of different image types (jpeg, gif, etc) and change the size too. Are they original screenshot images? Maybe an image preloader to cache them?
You've got some inline css in the image tags. Personally I'd farm that out to the exteranl styles.css file.
I like it though, simple and clean.
I've just noticed that you said you were hosting this off your laptop! It's certainly not good enough for professional hosting but I've always found these to be a great place to host websites during development. They're free and you're able to have php and mysql just fine.

I like the idea of having a single website to show your minecraft pictures, but it doesn't seem like it would prevent against a nasty person posting nasty images. That shouldn't be a problem if you have moderators constantly browsing the pictures (assuming that they're being handed out like hot cakes).

Not judging on load time of the website at all, because it is hosted on a .co.uk,
for this being from scratch, it looks great.
Navigation is a bit difficult if you click out of the main pages, you cannot get back without pressing the back arrow.
I love the idea of instant sharing of screenshots. Maybe you can get a mod-maker to make you a mod that screenshots, compresses, and uploads them to your site?
Make your site a resource that conveniently feeds all the game updates to your site so it becomes more useful and used perhaps?

How did you make this website? I have been trying to make a good clean website like this. I rate it 9/10, just make it a bit more original bud! But seriously, what web software did you use and just HOW?! xD Mine sucks,
