A couple of days ago I got the idea to make a minecraft themed rts game. I started to come up with a couple of ideas and started making it. As of today this is what I have so far:
I just want to know if you guys would think if this is a good idea or not (and yes, that is the side of a furnace texture, and it is for rocky mountain areas, and yes, I am going to change it)?

Wheres the image? I click the spoiler and it just says "image" Could always use Age of Empires, Starcraft, and Civilization as a base when developing it.

U could create a base tile that is a kind of village biome but not like a normal village like a mountain village with like tents high houses even camp fires!

Wouldn't you need permission from Mojang? You're open to a big lawsuit otherwise.

Mojang would probably support this.
They'd not only be getting free publicity, but they're fine with this kind of stuff.
Look at the amount of fangames, animations, etc minecraft already has.

Well, there are 3 base tile types, forest, grassland, and mountain (maybe more later). There are 3 resources food, minerals, and wood (possibility more later). You build buildings out of the resources and on specific tiles. For instance you build a mine out of wood on a mountain, it gives you minerals.
