This is a very simple one, but something that would be very helpful. Simply make husks drop sand.

I also had an idea for letting the player get enchantments that would be stronger than normal. Like for example someone could have Sharpness VI, or Unbreaking V, If you think it's a tiny bit too overpowered, you could make it only work on gold tools and weapons.

I don't know the feasability of it, but I'd like to see workbenches expand by adding a new block to the side much like a chest, openning some crafting options, or making the crafting more efficient, or even increasing the crafting grid.
I have a few other Ideas to expand the mineral and crafting options (hopefully) without overcomplicating things, but take a while to describe, any recomendations on how to start modding?

So, here is the gist of it, together with the idea I gave above, expand the crafting of metals to something more... "Fun", making a few changes to blast furnace so it's more like one would be like, add some proximity checking between workbench and anvil, to make a steadier progression towards iron and steel, here is a pic "organizing" the idea and breaking it all down to something more digestible.
Feel free to share the idea, most of it is a mix of existing mod concepts anyway. 8D

I`m fairly aware of that requires some coding and what it entails. no, I don`t have any experience in any coding program more serious than Excel, but am willing and capable to learn on my own given a site or source where I can investigate how to program.

If you want modding minecraft then you should learn Java, but if you want making datapack then you need to learn minecraft commands, mcfunction, json, etc. I know it sounds complicated but it is easy for starters, you can take help of youtube for leaning how to made minecraft datapack. But for expert datapack making you may need to lean other languages like python, etc
Remember if you want to start making datapack then don't go for a big run start by something small and gather some experience. If you need any help then I am with you, bro ;)
