My skin got stolen.....warning
so a week ago or two ive made a skin based out of sprite from fortnite.. and well.. someone stole it... i am pretty sad that my work got stolen even though i said not to.. its sad seeing people stealing other people artwork without permission... here the link to original skin ig?

If one posts something to the net, one has to assume it will be used against one's wishes.
Given that there are a number of countries that do not recognize IP (and more that make no – or only sporadic – effort to enforce IP laws) this is just an unfortunate fact of the times. (Similar in some ways to publishing before international copyright conventions.)
Further, unless the copyright was registered [USA & several other countries], one is limited to recovering only 'actual damages' — which (for something like an MC skin) would be unlikely to cover costs.
One can chase the IP across the web (and many sites will execute take-downs after doing the requisite due diligence to confirm one's claim [Shockingly 🙄 , there are nefarious types who file false and malicious claims.]), but this is going to need to be site by site and may not be worth one's time.

If anything it should be a compliment, someone thought it was cool enough to wear. Not sure how you "steal" a minecraft skin, you don't really own it.

If they reuploaded your content on this site you can report it with a link to where you posted it or somehow provide a timestamp showing you made it before they uploaded it and we will remove it. If it was uploaded elsewhere then you would need to report it where it was posted.
