Hey all, I have a spare Raspberry Pi (basically a small computer, like whats used to power your phones, tablets, etc) and was wondering if anyone had any creative ideas for it? I was looking at some sites with ideas but i've decided I want to do a project from scratch. I'll update this thread with progress on the project once I see an idea I like.

I did the same, but I bought a iPac, bought some arcade style buttons, went to my DIY shop bought some wood, and a cheap monitor of Amazon. Built, painted and made my own Arcade Cabinate!

The only I've done with a Raspberry Pi is connect to the internert via a CLI (command-line interface), so I can't really say.

Is selling it an option? I imagine you'd get some nice money from it- though I don't know how much a second hand Raspberry Pi would go for, so just a guess.

OR you could bake it into a pie. A delicious circuity pie.

Endure_SlayerEat it. Wait, we're talking about pie, right?

Yes, a raspberry flavoured pie.

Here are a few websites for you:

You should also definitely get a copy of the MagPi, the official Raspberry Pi magazine. https://www.raspberrypi.org/magpi/

I just thought that up and looked it up and it seems that they are fairly energy efficent obviously given their size heres a quote from a source i found

Following these steps will leave you with a very energy efficient bitcoin miner, as a Raspberry Pi only uses four watts of power, and a miner is typically 2.5W. Mining used to be done with computers consuming over 700W

If you dont use it alot and it just sits there maybe mining bit coins would be good just let it run and your good, i think there websites where if you run your computer in a pool of other computers and someone mines a bitcoin, some of the bitcoins gets divided to people depending on the computing power they put into the pool
