1. Well, the fastest in your budget range is certainly the Lenovo Y510p SLI I5 laptop. Currently for $930 and I guess it will get lower, judging by previous generation prices. The 755M SLI is faster in most cases than the GTX 770M by quite a margin. Including in BF4.
It does have some problems - high heat (can be dealt with to some extent), touchpad and SLI problems, which also can be dealt with in most cases

With GT 755M SLI, I5-4200M, 6GB DDR3, nice 1080p display (had one, it is not an IPS, but it is a rather nice 1080p display), 1TB SSHD (HDD + 8GB SSD inside), very good sound system for a laptop (the best I've heard) and that's all

2. other options for gaming laptops

Razer Blade FTW, Im telling you, ive had one. Never had one problem. Although best for the price, youll have to look around, keep comparing spect to price. the more you spend, the better it will be!
