So. I have some Beats. I broke them a little bit. They work, but I think i need some new headphones. Just for regular use. No need for a mic. Just some normal use headphones, Like ones for using on your iPhone, or when you are on a computer for watching youtube.
I'm not planning on buying your suggestions but just incase, I better mark this stuff down.
My requirements:
They need to be HEAD phones. not earbuds.
I would like very good listening quality.
Good quality headphones.
$300 maximum price. May make exemptions if price goes up.

Optional:
Maybe be able to get them at a store?

I would enjoy if you left your suggestions.

Since you won't give us more information, the V Moda M-100 is good if you like bass and portability, the
HD 25-1 II is good if you like balanced sound and portability. The HD558 is good if you like balanced sound but don't want portability, and the HD650 sometimes drops to $309.

why would you spend $300 on headphones, thats crazy talk

$300 on headphones is really nothing for people obsessed with getting the best quality.

I've got a pair of Altec Lansing MZX206 for earbuds. They aren't the best but they can handle themselves. Headphones/earbuds are just one of those things that there really isn't a "best". Different people have different styles and stuff so one pair can be good for one person, while someone else will hate on that same pair because it doesn't suit them.

Of course there isn't subjectively a best, but of course they get better when you spend more.

I would recommend just getting a few earplugs. I have some for 20NOK which is about $3, and I have been using it for over a year. Good sound quality, and nobody others can hear it. Nokia have good quality on their wares, you know. Bad stuff? They tangle. Every time I use them I have to untangle them. And people can hear the sound if they sit right next to you, but in places for example a classroom where there are 1-2 meters between every person, they should not hear you.

He should get some BOSE then. Beats aren't even worth $20 much less the asking price on them.

Bose makes pretty terrible headphones too, their only redeeming quality is the noise cancellation.

They're really not, even for the asking price. The OPs budget is $300 anyway.

Why is everyone recommending M50s when OP has a $300 budget? OP, what kind of music do you listen to and can you use open headphones?

1) NEVER use beats. You can get 5x better quality for the same price. The reason why beats is so expensive, is because of the advertisements the company made for them. If famous sport stars didn't use them, they'd be a lot cheaper.

2) Try ATH-m50x or ATH-m50. Both are well, I heard m50x just has detachable cables and a different earpad.

^ Quite right, you need to give more details.
But personally, I'd suggest you take a look into CAD Audio headphones. Been around for a long time, not very well known but good quality for rather impressive prices.
