It really pains me to see just how not viable most of the Eeveelutions are. To be honest, Sylveon is the only one I would ever use in a competitive battle, and it's outclassed by Clefable. Espeon, while it is the ruler of its niche (which isn't all that great to begin with), the Baton Pass Clause pretty much murdered it. Umbreon's just annoying. Not really effective, just annoying. Same thing with Jolteon. None of the others have any competitive merit to them. Why, you ask?
No movepool. The offensively-minded Eeveelutions have nothing to work with (especially the physical ones), and the defensively-minded ones end up being extremely predictable.

I have a Jolteon in my competitive team. Despite it's base stats, I bred it for a jolly nature, used vitamins and such on it, used super-training to beef it's special defence, speed, and attack, and now it is a very good pokemon to use. While I do agree about Espeon and Umbreon, Espeon's ability magic bounce can be useful (despite a couple better pokemon having this ability).

Well, see, Jolteon's outclassed at what it does by Raikou and Mega Manetric. Raikou is stronger and has a better movepool, while Mega Manetric is faster and has a great ability. It's good, but not great. And Espeon is the best Magic Bounce user, but that doesn't say much at all.
