Other: F.R.E.Q. 4D Headphones ($127.83)
Total: $2022.41

Other Details:
1. It's a mini ITX build because that's all I can fit where I'm putting it.
2. I still want the 780 Ti, even though it's overpowered. I do not want to switch to the r9 290x either.
3. I don't need a PSU because there is an integrated PSU in the case.
4. I am not overclocking.

All tips, suggestions, etc. are welcome.

Thanks in advance.

nVidia has nothing in features over AMD anymore. It's not worth the 100-250 dollar "premium" for just a few more frames in 1080p (When you're gonna be running 120+ on every game, you're not gonna notice the difference between 120 and 125)

And are you overclocking? Why the older z87 board? And not the z97? And I don't think 500w would be enough for a 4670k and a 780ti/290x. Will realllllly be pushing it.

Just a thought: Instead of the Intel CPU you could go with an AMD 8320 or 8350 which are $159 and $179, respectively and are actually more powerful than the Intel even though they're way cheaper (according to PassMark). But if you did switch to the AMD you'd have to get a different motherboard and all that, but it'd give you more bang for your buck.

PassMark is a horrible way of comparing CPUs. The i5 crushed the 8350 in anything using 4 or less cores and i'm pretty sure this build is for gaming so the i5 is definately a much better choice. Plus there are no mitx motherboards for AM3+.

Anyways, OP switch the CPU to a i5-4690 and get a H97 motherboard instead of the Z87 one. Change the RAM to cheaper 1600mhz or 1866mhz RAM. There isn't a large performance difference. Spend the extra 3$ for the MX100 because it is slightly faster and slightly bigger. Why do you want a 780ti, seriously? Do you need CUDA because if you don't save 200$ and get a r9 290x which would still be overkill for 1080p gaming. You should get a r9 290 or, if you want to waste your money and be a fanboy, get a 780. And actually the PSU in the case is a 80+ gold rated so it should be high quality.

57r4dThe quality of the integrated power supply is great.

We don't even know what case so we don't know what PSU in it.

The case is the EVGA Hadron Air, it says it in my parts list.

The quality of the integrated power supply is great, but the capacity approaches a cautious level with the 4670k and 780 Ti. Why not go for a more recent CPU that you can't overclock (non k version 4690) since you said you were not overclocking. A Z series motherboard is not needed, and for headphones use this guide.

Also, why not a 290x? They're much cheaper and have all the features nVidia has now.

Ok, I'll switch the cpu. Do you think the 780 Ti will be too big and how would you suggest I go about the PSU?

Dont use intergrated PSU. They are normally not as good as regular PSUs.

Just random comment and generalization. Maybe if you knew what psu was in it and you had something to back your comment up with it might of held some weight. Well this is true sometimes it is not true all the time.

I'd bump the ram to 16gig 2x8 and just do 1 drive all SSD. Make sure you fill all your fan slots and pay attention to air flow you don't want them fighting with each other. Heat is not your friend in that small case.

I did not see he/she had the case listed. I guess i have read more closely next time.
There is really no need for 16 gb of ram. And heat is not ur friend in any case. I say u should keep the HDD.

Well it's 500 watts, which is more than enough. I also already have a 750 watt PSU, but it's ever so slightly too big to put in the case.

Integrated PSUs are not as reliable regular PSUs. It is not completely about the wattage.

Ah, I see. How do you suggest I go about this? I'm not sure if I can remove the integrated PSU.
