Hi,

Just wondering if this is a good build for running Minecraft on decent/high settings with shaders, preferably SEUS:

CPU : Intel - Core i3-6100 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor
Motherboard : Gigabyte - GA-B250M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory : 8GB DDR4 RAM
Graphics Card : Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Windforce OC Video Card
The whole build (with case and peripherals) totals to around $550 USD

I really only play Minecraft, with the exception of some MMORPGs from time to time. I've always wanted to run Minecraft w/ SEUS shaders, so I'm wondering how you think this build will run.

Also, no need to suggest me alternate parts.

Thank you!

I wouldgo for more RAM, and maybe a different processor for example AMD - Ryzen 3 1200 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor

Hey, I already bought the parts so it's kinda final. I'm on a budget so 8GB RAM should be fine, the only game I really play is Minecraft and when I play it, I don't run anything in the background/record.

if your motherboard allows maybe you should think about upgrading in the future

8GB of RAM is enough for 97% of games out there right now. The only reason you would needs more is intense editing, where it's actually useful to have more. 8 is plenty for gaming.

nah, I have 12, and you need more than 8 to do mods and stuff, 25 mods and I was using around 10 gigs

I'm 14, I don't really have an easy way of making money. Maybe in a few months when the holidays come up, I'll look into doing some upgrades, but for now I think it should be fine. I'll look into that CPU though, thanks.

Yeah, I'm on a budget so 8GB RAM will do for now, I don't really do much other gaming other than Minecraft and I don't record or run things in the background so it should be fine. My current computer has 4GB RAM, and while that's really low, it still runs ok

It's quite a similiar build to mine, and it should be able to run fine.
That will be able to play minecraft around about 60fps with shaders.
Depending on how intense they are, look up 'GTX 1050 ti benchmark minecraft' in YouTube. That'll give you a few ideas on how it'll run.

You can probably get 30-60 fps.
