A gt 610 + FX-4300. HAHAHAHAHAHA this is not a gaming computer. This might be able to play mc at 60 fps but there is no way it will run any modern games decently. If you want a good computer you have to build it.
Processor speed doesn't determine performance, the processor's architecture does.

It'll handle Minecraft, Gmod fine.
May have a bit of trouble with Rust, but definitely playable.
Battlefield 4? Don't even ask, this will NOT run it, you're better off with better FPS games anyway, like Half Life, that runs perfectly well.
If you want a gaming computer, it's much cheaper to buy the individual parts and do some self-assembly. Then again, for $500, it's pretty good. If you want a decent gaming computer, you'll need at least $1000.

FYI, minecraft is not so graphic intensive on graphics cards, meaning that you do not need such a high specification for Minecraft. For the other games that you are mentioning is whole other planet. The computer is decent for those games but will not assure that you get the best fps out there. Since the processor is clocked at 3.8 GHz, it will process every single thing that you need. I have my computer at 3.4 GHz and its fine, except I haven't tried Battlefield 4. HOWEVER, most games these days depends on graphics cards, not processors. Sometimes you will even need to have two graphics cards or more these days because of how much graphics in the games eat up. The graphics card on that computer is good enough for probably low settings on battlefield 4 or even a little medium settings. The NVIDIA graphic chip is well known for their performance on intense games. But since its a GeForce GT610, it won't do as good as a 760 or 780 obviously would do. I would probably go look at an other computer if I were you. Or if thats not the case, buy a new graphics card. But you would need to do research if it would fit in the case and would be compatible with the MB (MotherBoard). Good Luck!

For modern games, yes, the GPU would be the most effective :p
But if you didn't get a decent CPU to pair up with that, you're going to have a massive bottleneck, the CPU is just as important, and still do play a large role in games.
As for the GPU, I'm using a 780 Ti, and I can tell you even a regular 780 is overkill for 1080p single monitor. A 770 is all you need for single monitor gaming, and even a 760 will be able to handle BF4 just fine.
Of course, that's not my decision to make Like me, he could choose to go overkill, which in my opinion, is the best option. A lot more future proof.

I can deal with that on Battlefield. but what about GMod?

It will run Gmod fine no lag.

Probably at a decent 50-60 FPS
