Does an intel Celeron run minecraft as well as an intel Pentium? I need to know very soon so please tell me what kind of frames does an intel Celeron get with minecraft. Thanks A ton! --BenEnder

Really doesn't matter what processor it is. It matter the GHz and cores in the processor

That would probably do pretty slowly and give you lag. At those speeds, celeron and pentium will equally suck, and you'll be relegated to low performance and graphics.

With a dual core I do not think it would work very well.

It really depends on the Moddle or version per seiries of processor, but for the sake of reasearch I just took the 2 lowest end processors from each series.
To end it straight off the bat: Pentium Processors are better.
The Celeron processors are low end microprossesors made for the purpose of budgeting and already budgeted build, And are typically only used for a pc that only runs essential programs, definitly not gamming.
So the Pentium processors are better, But they are still very trashy when compared to the Itel Icor series.
I'd recommend you use atleast an i3 if you want to get at least a decent 30-40 frames on medium/low settings.
But Gamming is not always allocated twords your processor, and if you are buying to use for gamming you should stick away from integrated graphics on the processors and lean twords deticated GPU's (graphics processing units). Check to see if your budget build comes with a graphics card.
