So recently, I've been losing interest in playing minecraft servers. Idk if it's been just me, the toxicity from minecraft servers in general or just all the servers that I've seen are basically dead (very low to no players at all).
Is it just me or does anyone else feel this way too?

Many times in the past I had gotten bored of Minecraft. That is normal, you can't play a game forever without getting bored. However Minecraft is the only game that I always come back at some point.
Less a matter of losing interest in MC as a whole than finding the updates less and less attractive.
I prefer long kept worlds [several years] and the mechanics changes in recent updates have tended to break things. [e.g. Several kilometers of Overworld ice roads that ceased to be mob proof due to 1.13's MobB ]

I personally play only a day or dwo after the update to see whats new
I normally stay away from the updates because I can't even see what's new about one update before they come out with 2,3,4 more
Hear! Hear!
It can take quite a while to fully appreciate the potential of even seemingly small additions/changes [though I've little hope for the Polar Bear].

I like new updates but they are nothing that would make me play a lot... I just wanna see new thing... the last update that made me play more was 1.16...
I play an SMP with my bros and some creative when planning a build on the server but a little more than half my time these days goes to War Thunder.
Minecraft is in fact dying, and the biggest server in Java edition shows it, not only it's dying, but it's getting extremely hard and less enjoyable to play, if I take Bed Wars as example, today near every match contains four sweaty suspect players doing a party to make your chance of winning to be 0%, while in about 2021 it was not like that, it had 15K players, and sweaty suspect players was rare, since I can easily remember that every match in this time was always players without ranks that plays safe, now today if you want a chance of winning, you need to quit from the lobby match until you find a match that doesn't have a team rushing madly in you in the first 10 seconds and destroying the three beds in 2 minutes, and can take a long time to find a match without these.
I can actually believe this all because me and a friend were playing bedwars a few days ago and it was all sweaty people. Like goddamn
Personally, I don’t tend to play on servers much. Most of them are minigames servers, and while they’re occasionally fun, they get repetitive quickly. I mostly just play single player survival.
The only minigame server I've played is hypixel. But I still get where you're coming from
Minecraft comes in waves for people. Our little gaming community helps beat boredom in the game, but even still people go through phases of on again off again.
servers? never heard of em, i play singleplayer like a normal person.
I don't think that's normal....
It is
It's not.
then they're not playing the game correctly
Everyone plays how they want, i play survival or creative singleplayer, and multiplayer only when I want to play Bedwars etc.
