Looking for a good monitor recommendation for Minecraft
Hi,
I have spared out enough cash to finally buy a gaming monitor next week. I hardly play any other games than Minecraft. I did some research online and found this site recommending the ASUS VG248QE:
https://gamingbuff.com/
https://gamingbuff.com/asus-vg248qe-rev ... z-monitor/
It's under my budget of $300 and is quite well rated on Amazon too. What do you guys think? I'm preferably looking for a cheaper one. If you guys've got some suggestions, please help your brother out here.
Thanks a lot!

You'll love having the high refresh rate, but the monitor you picked out is getting pretty old. It released in 2013 and the price hasn't really dropped since, so there are much better options out there for less money.
I suggest getting something like this: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/ZBZ2FT ... or-g2460pf
It supports FreeSync, which syncs the refresh rate with your game's framerate to make gameplay very smooth. FreeSync requires an AMD graphics card to function, but you can use the monitor just fine with other GPUs.

Personally I am a big fan of ultrawides, anything from LG or Acer seems to be a good choice, personally i use a 34 inch 1080p on from lg

Have a look a BenQ ZOWIE 24'' excellent for your budget. But in my opinion, its a very good price for PC with such technical details. This monitor is perfect for gaming, watching high-quality movies, etc. Just read some reviews about it, there is a lot of useful information
